What are The House Extension Benefits?

1. Adding Value to Your Home
No matter what is it you may decide to add to your home, it will most definitely increase the value of your property. In some cases we have come across customers who have decided to add an extension to their home because they wish to sell it. You may think this is odd, when actually they’re being smart with their money. If they add an extension on the home, it creates an extra room within the house this means that the value will go up.

2. Easier Alternative to Moving House.

Another reason we’ve found as to why people decide to get a home extension, is because they feel it’s time that they need to change the look of the home. Many cases if you’ve lived in your house for a while, you may decide to get bored of the interior and you may decide that something needs to change. Well, we always advise our customers that before you think about moving why not think about adding an extension. Not only is it far cheaper, it’s also less stress for you and your family.

3. Tailor The Design to Your Family Needs

When adding an extension many people decide to get one for a specific purpose. There may not be enough room for their ever growing family, maybe they want to add an office to home, or extend onto one of the current rooms. One of the good things about getting an extension is that you tell us what you want it for, and we can tailor the design specific to the way you want it, so you know you’re making the right home improvement decision for you and your family.

4. You do Not Always Need Planning Permission

For those who do not know, getting an extension is generally considered to be permitted developments, which means you do not need to get planning permission. One of the main barriers which prevents people from going through with the project is the thought of getting planning permission, hopefully this is a positive for you. Although, you will have to see the rules and regulations from your local council. If your extension does not exceed any of these, then you will be good to go.

5. Saving You Time & Money

Instead of putting money down and saving for your dream home, why not create your dream home in the house you’re already in? Whether an extension/conversion is something for you, it can make a whole lot of difference to the appearance and way of living. Spend the money and time you were going to spend on jazzing up your new extension, making it really the home you want to live in. Whilst saving you a whole load of time, to get the right extension you and your family truly deserve.

Sounds good? We hope the above breaks down some of the reasons as to why our customers time and time again decide to get home extensions. If you’re thinking about getting one, feel free to get in contact with us.

Getting your home extension process started

When you first make contact with us either via telephone or email we will take your details and organise a free consultation meeting at your property.

During our initial free consultation we will take measurements and listen to what you have in mind so we can work together to achieve the exact space you require.
At this stage you will receive a quotation for the work required, detailing each step so that there are no surprises and everything is as transparent as possible.
If the quotation is accepted we will issue a formal contract between you and ourselves for the works to be undertaken.

Then, from architectural plans and design, planning permission applications (if required) and building regulations, we will handle the entire process. Once we have building control approval, building works can begin on your new extension.
We will be available to answer any questions and keep you up to date throughout the entire process.
